Paeae Technologies is Finnish webstore selling electronic components like microcontrollers and everything you need to build one. We provide components and products especially for hobbyists, engineers and electronic enthusiastics. Paeae Technologies also develops and sells it's own products. Our selection grows within time. The main purpose of the shop is to make it easier to prototye and have fun with electronics. We do that by offering products in Finland, but also by designing new things.

Taking responsibility of our doings in environmental and health issues are important issues for us.
Package: We find it very important to avoid environmental impacts, even our business is in a small scale. We try to minimize the packaging and use recycled and environmental friendly materials whenever possible. All the envelopes and boxes used in our shippings are recycled and environmental marked materials. We have choosen paper as the filling material for the boxes instead of plastic based materials. We also try to reuse second hand paper and plastic when it's possible and acceptable considering the product.
Products: The quality and top condition of the products is naturally extremely important, so when needed we use plastic / antistatic materials etc. for packing.
We are concerned about the health and safety effects associated with the production of electronics. As a small scale business, it is some times hard to know for certain where our products come from. Therefore, we are very proud to be a distributor of Arduino, because they share our concern in this matter. All of the official Arduino boards manufactured by Smart Projects (the Arduino team) are made in Italy where the workers are reasonably paid and work in a safe environment. If we become aware that a product we carry has been manufactured in an unacceptable working conditions that put the health and safety of the workers or environment to risk, we will stop selling such an item.
We only use RoHS compliant components.
